jL Shuts Down VP, Keeps His No Third Map Promise

In the Playoffs of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 at OVO Arena Wembley in London, we saw NAVI decimate Virtus.pro to claim a spot in the grand finale. As Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports watched the thrilling match, one player stood out: Lithuanian lurker Justinas "jL" Lekavičius.

jL topped the scoreboard, spearheading NAVI's dominating win on Anubis, and helped finish off VP in a closer 13-9 on Mirage. jL's stats for the match is 34 kills to 16 deaths, average damage per round (ADR) of 85.4, and a fantastic HLTV player rating of 1.53.

Interestingly, jL did say with confidence that VP wouldn't even make it to the third map (Dust2) in an interview after the veto, just before the match got underway. jL was asked about his thoughts on VP's Dust2, and the NAVI rifler said:

It's not like they are gonna get to the third map, there's no need.
