How To Get Exotic Khvostov 7G-0X In Destiny 2 The Final Shape

Destiny 2 The Final Shape DLC has added exotic Khvostov 7G-0X, whose every 7th bullet will deal additional damage and ricochets to nearby targets. However, you will not get it through campaign and you will have to complete multiple quests to be able to unlock it. Here is a complete guide to getting the exotic Khvostov 7G-0X in Destiny 2.

How To Get Exotic Khvostov 7G-0X In Destiny 2 The Final Shape

The first goal before getting exotic Khvostov 7G-0X is to unlock the legendary Khvostov 7G-0X. In order to do this, you will have to first unlock The Final Shape campaign and then, open all nine Region Chests on the Pale Heart that will give you one Lost Encryption Bit each.

The locations of chests will be marked on your map with the symbol marked on the map below:

Once done, you will have to find the remaining six Lost Encryption Bits by completing Cyst activities in Alone In The Dark quest given by Micah-10 in the Old Tower. This is a repeatable quest and here is the list of Cyst activities you will have to complete:

1. Sword Dance
2. Searing Light
3. Aerial Ace
4. Moth-Infested Cavern
5. Slayer
6. Aerial Ace

After collecting all 15 Lost Encryption Bits, go to The Impasse and enter the door shown in the image below:

Keep following the path as you reach The Divide and from there enter the room on your right side to find a chest that will give you legendary Khvostov 7G-0X.

Next step is to find 17 Motes of Light to get the exotic version of Khvostov 7G-0X. Eight of them can be collected from the Visions of the Traveler, that are collectibles hidden across the map. You can find their locations below along with the images:

The Lost City

The Landing

The Refraction

The Blooming

The Seclusion

The Divide

The Impasse

The Transgression

You are now collect the remaining nine Motes of Light by completing Overthrow public event in The Landing, The Blooming and The Impasse and beat all nine bosses. Each boss will give you one Mote of Light.

After you beat the last boss, it will drop Mote of Primordial Light and after picking it up, head back to The Lost City and enter the tower on your left side.

Keep going forward until to reach the central place where you can place all 8 Visions of the Traveler to spawn a chest. Open this chest using Mote of Primordial Light and you will get exotic Khvostov 7G-0X.
