Are Scadutree Blessings Single Use In Elden Ring?

Elden Ring's DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is putting even veteran players through their paces. But whether you're an Elden Lord or a full newbie, Shadow of the Erdtree has ways of easing players into the content... Sort of. 

The DLC brings with it some new mechanics, including one in the form of the Scadutree Blessings. So, what are they and can they be reused?

What Are Scadutree Blessings In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?

Because Shadow of the Erdtree has to acount for all types of players in Elden Ring, from those who are on their 7th New Game+ playthrough to those who have beaten Mogh for the first time, the difficulty scales somewhat. So, in order to help players progress, Scadutree Blessings have been introduced in order to enhance a player's offensive and defensive capabilities when used at a Site of Grace. 

However, these Scadutree Blessings only take effect in the Realm of Shadows and not in the Lands Between (base game). Scadutree Blessings are obtained after collecting a certain amount of Scadutree Fragments and using them at a Site of Grace. 

Are The Scadutree Blessings Temporary, Single Use Upgrades In Shadow of the Erdtree?

Thankfully, no. Scadutree Blessings, while you only need to use each one once, are permanent upgrades. However, remember that the effects only apply whilst in the Realm of Shadows DLC area, and not in the base game when exploring the Lands Between.

Scadutree Blessings are optional items and do not have to be used if you prefer a challenge. That said, even if you do use them, don't expect an easy ride. Shadow of the Erdtree is a punishing DLC, but one well worth your time.
