GTA Online: How To Start Bottom Dollar Bounties Missions

Rockstar's new major content update for GTA Online, Bottom Dollar Bounties, has been released, adding new vehicles, and a brand new Bail Offices business. The character of Maude Eccles also returns, as your point of contact for the new Bail Office property. If this is your first time playing the game, you might be wondering how to start this new story content. Well, read on for everything you need to know.

How To Start 'Bottom Dollar Bounties' Missions In GTA Online

Assuming you've downloaded the latest GTA Online update, players need to first wait for a phone call from Maude before you can start the new DLC missions.

The phone call should read a bit like this:

"This is Maude Eccles calling from Canine Renditions, the very best bounty hunting business out of Sandy Shores. I got a proposition for you and I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm looking to hand over the reigns, if you catch my drift and pass the baton to a hungry bounty hunter looking to spread their wings. That's where you come in. I'm going to need somebody to open another office for me. This is a ripe opportunity for a young, cash-rich bounty hunter like yourself to run their very own enforcement agency. Now, I'll supply some of the staff and expertise, you just pick your favourite property off Maze Bank and pull the trigger."

After the phone call players will need to head to the Maze Bank Foreclosures website to purchase one of the new Bail Offices. There are five options to choose from and we've listed the price of each location for you below:

  • Paleto Bay Bail Office: $1,650,000
  • Davis Bail Office: $2,000,000
  • Del Perro Bail Office: $2,350,000
  • Mission Row Bail Office: $2,390,000
  • Downtown Vinewood: $2,620,000

What do you do after you buy the Bail Office?

Once you've made your purchase Maude will call you again, saying:

"Hey again, I'm real glad you decided to take the leap on that Bail Office. Swing by when you get a second. Just got a couple of things to go over with you. Oh and I wanted to introduce you to someone you'll be working with. See you soon.

Next, head to the Bail Office you've purchased and walk in for a cut scene with Maude where she will introduce you to her daughter, Jenette Eccles, who'll be running the business office.

After the nature of the business has been explained, you'll be prompted to register as a boss (either CEO or Motorcycle Club President) to access the 'Bail Enforcement System', which is where you will select your intended target.

How Much Does It Cost To Start GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties Missions?

Put bluntly, it's not cheap. To begin playing the new Bottom Dollar Bounty missions you'll first need to purchase the Bail Office, which costs at least $1,650,000 if you opt for the cheapest location available. But do note, that a fully-upgraded Bail Office could set you back a lot more should you choose to purchase any upgrades, which we've listed below:

  • Agents - Hire one for $750,000 or two for $1,500,000
  • Personal Quarters - $295,000
  • Gun Locker - $175,000
  • Enforcement Van Armor Plating - $125,000
  • Bail Office Styles - $125,000 or $145,000

Overall, it's possible to spend another $2,240,000 on upgrades, meaning that even the cheapest Bail Office location could cost players up to $3,890,000.
