Dead By Daylight Buffs Toolboxes, Improves Sabotage

Dead by Daylight has buffed toolboxes significantly in the Dungeons & Dragons 8.0.0 update, making sabotage a much more viable option for survivors again. The new update adds sabotage functionality to various toolboxes, increases the sabotage speed of others, and changes some toolboxes that previously decreased sabotage speed to increase it instead.

The Commodious Toolbox, Festive Toolbox, Anniversary Toolbox, and Masquerade Toolbox now all have an increased sabotage speed of 50%. The Toolbox and Mechanic's Toolbox's sabotage speed were also increased by 5% and 15% respectively, among other changes to Alex's Toolbox and the Engineer's Toolbox.

Various toolbox add-ons, including Cutting Wire, Grip Wrench, and Hacksaw have also seen updates to increase the values of their sabotage functionality

These changes will no doubt increase the amount of survivors choosing to use sabotage as a strategy against killers. It's possible that future balance changes for toolboxes could be coming in the future following this patch, but no news yet.
