Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks Today (July 2024)

In the horror game Dead by Daylight, the Shrine of Secrets is an in-game store where players can purchase perks using Iridescent Shards. When those perks are purchased, they are instantly unlocked on all killers or survivors; you won't need to spend any bloodpoints on your characters to get the perks you've purchased, saving you a ton in the long run. The Shrine refreshes each week on a Tuesday, with two new perks for survivors and two for killers. Now let's take a look at the Shrine for this week.

NOTE - The Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade event for 2024 is now active. That means the return of the the Shrine of Secrets Sale, which offers a 25% discount on every Perk that appears in the Shrine. The Shrine also resets every day at 11:00 AM ET.

What Time Does DBD Shrine Of Secrets Reset?

The Shrine of Secrets used to refresh at the stroke of midnight every Wednesday. But in more recent months the Shrine of Secrets has reset on a Tuesday at 5 pm UTC.

The next shrine reset will take place on 11 June 2024. You can see on the countdown timer below how long you have before the next Shrine of Secrets goes live.

What Is The Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets This Week?

Note - This section is not being updated whilst the Shrine of Secrets is available on a daily basis for the Masquerade event.

The Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets this week is:

• Save the Best for Last - A unique perk belonging to The Shape
• Pharmacy - A unique perk belonging toQuentin Smith
• Mettle of Man - A unique perk belonging to Ashley Williams

Below is a closer look at the perks in the Shrine this week, and how they work.

Dissolution

Everything turns to dust. It is as inescapable as the coming of the night.

3 seconds after injuring a Survivor by any means, Dissolution activates for 12/16/20 seconds. While Dissolution is active, if a Survivor fast vaults over a pallet inside of your Terror Radius, The Entity will break the pallet at the end of the vault, and Dissolution deactivates.

Save the Best for Last

You become obsessed with one Survivor.

Earn a token for each successful basic attack that is not dealt to the Obsession. Each token grants a stackable 4% decreased successful basic attack cooldown, you can earn up to 6/7/8 tokens.

When you hit the Obsession with a Basic Attack or Special Attack, lose 2 tokens. You cannot gain tokens as long as your Obsession is sacrificed or killed.

The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Pharmacy

You have a knack for finding medicine. When injured, Pharmacy activates. While active:

• Unlocking chests is 40/60/80% faster.
• The hearing distance for noises from unlocking chests are reduced by 8 meters.
• Pharmacy guarantees an Emergency Med-kit upon completing the interaction.

Mettle of Man

How Much Does The Shrine Of Secrets Cost?

The perks available in the Shrine cost 2,000 Iridescent Shards for Tier 1, 4,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 2, and 6,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 3. Unlocking a perk at Tier 1 will unlock it for all survivors at perk tier 2, while unlocking a perk at Tier 2 will unlock perk tier 2, and so forth.
