How To Find Masquerade Pillars In Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight's new 8th anniversary event is here, and it brings a brand-new gameplay mechanic: Masquerade Pillars. Players can interact with them in order to obtain some special abilities. But where are they located? In this guide, we'll walk you through how to find Masquerade Pillars and complete the event tome as quickly as possible.

Masquerade Pillar Locations

The Masquerade Pillars in Dead by Daylight's anniversary trials spawn in every single trial, and move every few minutes throughout the trial. So, there's no one place to look for Masquerade Pillars. However, we have noticed that their spawn points tend to be near the Killer Shack, near the main building, and around the edges of the map. These aren't the only places that the Pillars can spawn, although they do appear to be the most common this year.

It's important during the 8th anniversary to know where the Masquerade Pillars spawn, since getting them will grant you Invitations, which you can use in exchange for helpful abilities throughout the trial.

If you're struggling to find the Masquerade Pillars, you might consider trying out the new event offering, the Screech Cobbler. Not only does it reveal the aura of un-claimed Pillars, letting you know exactly where to go, it also grants all players a bonus 108% Bloodpoints - per Offering!

On top of using Screech Cobbler, you can listen for the audio cue that plays when the Pillars move. All in all, though, your best bet is definitely to use the Screech Cobblers as often as you can to find the Masquerade Pillars consistently, since they do move throughout the trial and can spawn in various locations. If you happen to run out of them, it's a good idea to check the Killer Shack, main building, and near the map's edges for any Pillars.
