Are Revered Spirit Ash Blessings Single Use In Elden Ring?

Elden Ring's DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is everything fans wanted: creative, expansive, and down right punishing. Whether you're on your newest New Game+, or going through it all for the first time, Shadow of the Erdtree is designed to be a challenge. Thankfully, there are implemented mechanics that help ease the pain... Somewhat.

One new item in Shadow of the Erdtree is the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing, but what is it and can it be reused? 

What Are Revered Spirit Ash Blessings In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?

Shadow of the Erdtree can be played by all players, whether you're in a New Game+ run or a brand new one, and because of that there needs to be some sort of scaling to maintain the right level of difficulty.

To help balance that, FromSoftware have introduced two new upgrade items: the Scadutree Blessings and the Revered Spirit Ash Blessings. Both are used at a Site of Grace, but the latter is used to boost summoned spirits and the spectral steed's abilities to deal and negate damage. However, these Revered Spirt Ash Blessings only take effect in the Realm of Shadows and not in the Lands Between (base game). 

Are Revered Spirit Ash Blessings Temporary, Single Use Upgrades In Shadow of the Erdtree?

Thankfully, no. Revered Spirit Ash Blessings while you only need to use each one once, are permanent upgrades. However, remember that the effects only apply whilst in the Realm of Shadows DLC area, and not in the base game when exploring the Lands Between.

Revered Spirit Ash Blessings are optional items and do not have to be used if you prefer a challenge. That said, even if you do use them, don't expect an easy ride. Shadow of the Erdtree is a punishing DLC, but one well worth your time.
